Crabbing with handlines is a lot of fun from shore, dock or boat. Using these crab throw line bait up, soak and catch crabs for a delicious dinner.
How to Use
First ensure the rope is tied securely to the eye next to the lead weight.
Then unravel the line to the approximate length of the distance you will be throwing and to match depth.
Bait up with your choice of meat, sliding it onto the wire bail clip; bunker, chicken.
Throw or drop out and soak.
You might feel the crab on your line. Sometimes watching the line closely can identify when a crab is present as the line moves. When ready slowly bring in the line, usually checking the bait every 5-10 minutes..
Once you see the crab... scoop up your catch with a crab net. (Crab net sold separately)
