Born to pursue ultimate lightness and refined performance, the Shimano Poison Adrena B Casting Rods are the culmination of cutting-edge design, premium materials, and application-specific engineering. These rods are powered by Shimano’s Spiral X Core construction — an evolution of the Spiral X carbon tape build — now reinforced with Toray Nanoalloy® technology. This advanced structure delivers up to 10% more torsional rigidity and 15% more compressional strength than standard Spiral X, ensuring heightened responsiveness, durability, and casting precision even under extreme loads.
Central to the Poison Adrena’s sensitivity and feel is the fully redesigned Full Carbon Monocoque handle, a feature that eliminates traditional grip materials in favor of a single-piece hollow carbon structure. This design enhances vibration transmission, allowing anglers to detect subtle lure movement and the faintest of bites. Paired with Shimano’s lightweight CI4+ reel seat, these rods achieve a remarkable weight-to-strength ratio, providing all-day comfort and optimal balance for high-level bass fishing scenarios.
Each Poison Adrena rod is finished with premium Fuji SiC and Shimano X-Guides, selected for their ability to reduce overall rod weight while maximizing casting distance, accuracy, and line management. Whether targeting big fish with heavy baits or employing finesse techniques with pinpoint accuracy, the Poison Adrena B series offers elite-level performance tailored to the demands of competitive anglers. With technique-specific actions and a sleek, minimalistic aesthetic, the Poison Adrena B redefines what a high-performance casting rod should be.
