Shimano CORE G9 is a premium, Made-in-Japan braided line built with ultra-high-strength IZANAS polyethylene fiber. Its unique manufacturing process reduces line stretch to transmit information to the angler faster, while a 9-strand sinking structure with an 8-carrier weave and high-density core delivers a specific gravity of 1.13-1.27 versus 0.98 for conventional PE. That sinking design gives anglers the control needed for strolling, drop shots, and neko rigs in deep water, and minimizes line bow caused by wind and waves.
