    Built for heavy surf-casting and large saltwater species from the beach or rock ledges, the PENN Battalion II Surf Conventional Rod in the 12-foot, 20-40 lb line rating version brings a long rod length and ample power to throw big plugs, jigs, or heavy baits at distance. This two-piece rod features a rugged graphite composite blank along with Fuji® Alconite guides and a Fuji® reel seat, and it uses PENN’s rubber shrink-tube handle to provide a secure grip in wet surf conditions.
