Madd Mantis Duck

The Madd Mantis Duck looks like a popper, but is a uniquely designed surface swimmer.  The duck sinks, but when retrieved the face brings the lure up to the surface.  While the face is cupped and it can be worked as a popper, it really shines when retrieved slowly, as it then acts like a long casting metal lip lure.  The action is incredible. This is an excellent lure for striped bass, bluefish, and anything else that will take a lure off the surface.
