Jigging with conventional gear is about authority - driving a heavy iron down through suspended bait, working it back with a hard, controlled cadence, and having enough backbone left to turn a fish before it reaches structure. The G.Loomis IMX-PRO Jigging Casting rods are built for exactly that, spanning 5'8" to 6'3" in Medium through Extra-Extra Heavy so you can match the blank to the jig weight and the class of fish you're after. TaperTec-modeled blanks give each model just enough give to breathe life into a jig, backed by the lifting power to bury a hook and keep the pressure on.
