The Daiwa Free Swimmer EX series adds an Automatic Bite N’ Run Clutch system to standard spinning reel functions, allowing a secondary “free spool / live-liner” drag that lets baitfish swim off with minimal resistance until you engage the main drag. The reel still retains all of Daiwa’s premium features — Air Rotor, Air Bail, MAGSEALED, Carbon ATD drag, Digigear gearing, CRBB bearings, and a machined aluminum handle — making it a heavy-duty performer for both fresh and saltwater use.
