The stiffest part of the rod is under the reel seat so it loads like a long bow to the top and bottom of the rod. With an easy casting moderate action and a super fast single recovery material, the SurfMachine gives amazing distance to a beginner or pro with little effort while still maintaining a supple tip for working plugs or bite detection. The rods feature a premium Fuji reel seat, shrink-wrapped handles and American Tackle titanium guides for corrosion-proof performance.
