These rods are also perfect for using light leaders, and light bait with circle hooks. The moderate tip on these rods enables you to throw 3-4 ounce sninkers on light 15# fluorocarbon leaders without worrying about leaders breaking. These rods are perfect for throwing eels, darters, dannys, and any other lipped swimming baits that aren't aerodynamic.
