- Designed, built, and tested by some of the world's leading jigging experts, the Centaur Anglers Choice Chiron Jigging Rods are among the most capable jigging rods ever produced. Offering a true Japanese inspired design, the Chiron series is constructed with state-of-the-art materials and components to deliver the ultimate quality. The rod blanks are built with a Japanese imported Toray carbon material and finished with a double layer cross section carbon wrapping. The end result is an incredibly powerful blank that is astoundingly light and comfortable to fish. These powerhouse jigging rods are up to any challenge whether it means fighting hard charging bottom fish or hulking pelagic heavyweights. All models feature high-end Fuji components throughout, including Fuji LC and KW series guides along with a variety of Fuji reel seats with TVS/LO back stop system. A high strength aluminum alloy gimbal is covered by a removal butt cap for comfortable use with or without a fighting belt (excluded on UL models). Handles are crafted from a comfortable EVA material of multiple colors complete with sleek laser engraving for a rod that looks and performs like the best of its class.
