The Accurate Valiant BV2-600N-SPJ Two Speed Reels are flawless right out of the box, a great feel with features like a strong frame, smooth retrieve, and an amazing cast. The 600-SPJ reels are extremely strong, while remaining light weight. This is due to the notable curved design of the frame and sideplate. The spool spins along a sleeved shaft that truly gives the 600-SPJ incredible freewheeling spin, resulting in longer, farther casting.
The shaft and the gears of the 600-SPJ reels are manufactured from 17-4 heat treated stainless steel. That means these components can withstand some extreme use while maintaining their integrity. Holding everything together are Eight, Class 5 ABEC rated, anti-rust stainless steel bearings. These bearings have precision tolerances to make the 600-SPJ smooth from the cast to the catch, and corrosion won't be a problem for these bearings either, with their stainless steel construction.
