When fishing the early Spring, water temperatures fluctuate and conditions are constantly changing. With that said, it is important to have a wide range of plugs in your arsenal to make sure you're covered for whatever the fish may be eating. Minnow plugs are often top producers in the early spring; Red Fins, SP Minnows, and Bombers are all great options. But don't hesitate to bring some larger plugs with you as well.
